So what is BNI?  BNI stands for Business Networking International and is an international company based in 36 countries.  They have over 122,000 members in 5,600 chapters.  BNI is the world’s largest referral marketing group. Though our philosophy “Giver’s Gain” we assist members find and pass qualified business referrals to other members within their chapter. BNI is in 36 countries and has over 120,000 members worldwide in 5,600 chapters. Each year BNI members passed millions of referrals which translates into billions of dollars worth of business. In 2009, 6.2 millions referrals were passed which results in $2.6 billions dollars of closed business.

In 2009 BNI Australia celebrated their 10 year anniversary, with 204 chapters and 4693 members. These members passed $138 million of closed business.

The BNI Gold Coast region has one of Australia’s oldest chapter – BNI Paradise Chapter who also celebrated their 10 year anniversary in June 2009.

BNI Gold Coast Region has 17 chapters from Lismore in the South, out to Beaudesert and North to Logan. We have over 300 members and our members have passed over $5 millions worth of business in 2009.

Natalie Alaimo is an Assistant Director with BNI Gold Coast Region. She with fellow director Peter Fitzgerald look after 11 chapters and over 200 members.
